About HIGH TOR
Welcome to High Tor Guest House, a unique 5-star Victorian townhouse
set in the heart of the ancient North Yorkshire maritime town of Whitby.
High Tor is an ideal base from which to explore the town on foot, from the narrow cobbled streets to the foot of the 199 steps leading to the ancient Abbey and churchyard of St. Mary’s.
We are situated on the West Cliff just a short walk from Whitby’s many shops, restaurants and bars.
The clifftop is a two-minute walk away, where you can take a stroll down to the magnificent beach below.
Everyone staying at our guesthouse will be provided with a free permit to park.
For your added comfort we operate a no smoking policy throughout.
Unfortunately, we are unable to cater to groups.
